Fall 2026-2027

8U Travel Hockey (Mites) – Fall/Winter 2026–2027

The 8U Travel program is designed for young players who are ready for a more competitive and structured hockey experience while continuing to build fundamental skills and a love for the game. This level focuses on player development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and increased game experience in a fun and positive environment.

Players will participate in:

-Full-ice and cross-ice practices

-Regional games and jamborees

-3 Weekend tournaments

-Skill development sessions focused on skating, puck handling, passing, shooting, and hockey IQ

The travel team requires a higher level of commitment from both players and families than introductory or house-level hockey. Families should expect regular practices during the week along with weekend games, tournaments, and occasional travel throughout the season.

Our goal at the 8U level is to continue developing strong hockey fundamentals while helping players gain confidence, build friendships, and prepare for future team play within the organization.

The Fall/Winter 2026–2027 season is anticipated to begin in October 2026 and run through March 2027. Specific schedules, tournament details, and team expectations will be communicated following registration and team placement evaluations.
