10U Travel Hockey (Squirts) – Fall/Winter 2026–2027

The 10U Travel Hockey program is designed for players looking to continue developing their hockey skills in a more competitive team environment. At the Squirt level, players build upon foundational skills while increasing their understanding of team systems, game strategy, and overall hockey development.

This program emphasizes:

-Advanced skating and edge work

-Puck control, passing, and shooting development

-Team play and hockey IQ

-Sportsmanship, accountability, and work ethic

-Competitive game experience

Players can expect:

-Multiple practices per week

-Weekend league games and scrimmages

-Regional travel throughout Iowa and surrounding areas

-Participation in tournaments during the season

-Increased expectations regarding attendance, effort, and team commitment

The 10U level serves as an important transition in youth hockey, helping players develop confidence, independence, and stronger game awareness while continuing to foster a positive and supportive team environment.

The Fall/Winter 2026–2027 season is anticipated to begin in October 2026 and continue through March 2027. Additional information regarding evaluations, team placement, schedules, tournaments, and season expectations will be shared following registration.
